Wave System

The Wave System operates as a recurring event, triggered every 3 days (e.g., Monday, Thursday, Sunday) with a 24-hour active window. Players receive an in-game notification 12 hours in advance, alerting them to prepare their roosters. Each wave pits a single rooster against a series of increasingly powerful enemies, with rewards scaling based on performance.

  • Activation:

    • Waves begin at 00:00 UTC and last until 23:59 UTC on the designated day.

    • Notification: “A Wave approaches! The beasts of Ragnarok stir—ready your flock by [time].”

  • Entry Requirement:

    • Roosters must be Level 5+, have a passport, and possess at least 75% STA.

    • Cost: 10 $RAG entry fee per attempt, fueling the reward pool.

  • Wave Structure:

    • Consists of 3 stages (sub-waves), each with a unique enemy.

    • Players must defeat all 3 stages to complete the wave; failure at any stage ends the run with partial rewards.

    • Duration: 5-10 minutes total, with auto-resolve option.

  • Cooldown: Roosters rest for 1 hour (reduced by REC) after each attempt, with a limit of 3 attempts per wave event.

Wave Tiers and Enemies

Each wave event randomly selects a tier, escalating difficulty and rewards:

  • Wave Tier 1: Midgard Incursion

    • Enemies:

      • Stage 1: Fenrir Pack (3 wolves, STA 30 each, STR 15).

      • Stage 2: Serpent Brood (2 snakes, STA 40 each, AGI 20).

      • Stage 3: Troll Scout (STA 60, STR 25, AGI 15).

    • Difficulty: Moderate (Level 5-10 roosters).

    • Rewards per Stage Cleared:

      • Stage 1: 10 $RAG + 20 XP.

      • Stage 2: 15 $RAG + 30 XP.

      • Stage 3: 25 $RAG + 50 XP + 10% chance for Regular Feed.

    • Full Clear Bonus: 50 $RAG + 100 XP + 1 Premium Feed.

  • Wave Tier 2: Jotunheim Onslaught

    • Enemies:

      • Stage 1: Frost Giant Youngling (STA 80, STR 30, AGI 10).

      • Stage 2: Raven Swarm (4 ravens, STA 25 each, AGI 25).

      • Stage 3: Jotun Berserker (STA 100, STR 40, SPT 20).

    • Difficulty: Challenging (Level 10-20 roosters).

    • Rewards per Stage Cleared:

      • Stage 1: 20 $RAG + 40 XP.

      • Stage 2: 30 $RAG + 60 XP.

      • Stage 3: 50 $RAG + 80 XP + 15% chance for Jotun Hide fragment.

    • Full Clear Bonus: 100 $RAG + 200 XP + 1 Special Feed.

  • Wave Tier 3: Niflheim Invasion

    • Enemies:

      • Stage 1: Draugr Legion (3 undead, STA 50 each, STR 20, SPT debuff).

      • Stage 2: Hel’s Hound Pack (2 hounds, STA 70 each, AGI 30, poison).

      • Stage 3: Niflheim Wraith (STA 120, STR 45, AGI 35, fear debuff).

    • Difficulty: Elite (Level 15+ roosters).

    • Rewards per Stage Cleared:

      • Stage 1: 40 $RAG + 60 XP.

      • Stage 2: 60 $RAG + 80 XP.

      • Stage 3: 100 $RAG + 120 XP + 20% chance for Gungnir Shard fragment.

    • Full Clear Bonus: 200 $RAG + 300 XP + 1 Rare Item (e.g., Norn’s Blessing).

Combat and Reward System

  • Combat Dynamics:

    • Turn-based, multi-enemy battles where STR deals damage, AGI governs turn order/dodging, STA absorbs hits, and SPT resists debuffs (e.g., poison, fear).

    • Rooster must survive all 3 stages; STA carries over between stages, dropping 20-30% per fight.

  • Reward Distribution:

    • $RAG: Higher than daily PvE (10-200 $RAG vs. 5-30), reflecting event rarity and difficulty.

    • XP: Significant gains (20-300 XP), accelerating leveling (e.g., 3-5 full clears to Level 10).

    • Items: Tiered drop rates (10-20%) offer feed or equipment fragments, with full clears guaranteeing rare rewards.

    • Pool Contribution: 50% of entry fees (5 $RAG/attempt) fund rewards, 50% burn to reduce $RAG supply.

  • Participation Bonus: All players completing at least 1 stage per wave get 10 $RAG, encouraging broad engagement.
