Training
Training sessions are player-initiated activities that boost a rooster’s capabilities over time. Each session targets a specific stat, requiring $RAG and a commitment period, after which the rooster gains permanent improvements. Roosters must be fed and rested (minimum 50% STA) to participate, tying the system to the Feeding mechanics.
Entry Requirement: Roosters need a passport and Level 1+ to train. Higher-level exercises unlock at Levels 5 and 10.
Duration: Sessions last 2-6 hours, depending on intensity, with a cooldown of 1 hour (reduced by REC) before the next session.
Cost: Varies by exercise (5-50 $RAG), paid upfront to initiate training.
Limit: Maximum 3 sessions per rooster per day (24-hour reset at midnight UTC), balancing growth with gameplay pacing.
Training Exercises
The Training System offers a variety of exercises, each tied to a Norse-inspired theme and targeting specific stats. Players choose based on their rooster’s role (e.g., STR for Fjalar, AGI for Dagrún):
1. Hammer Forge (Strength Training)
Description: A grueling regimen inspired by Thor’s hammer strikes, pushing a rooster’s talons and beak to their limits.
Cost: 10 $RAG.
Duration: 2 hours.
Effects:
+5 STR (permanent increase).
+10 XP.
-10% STA (temporary stamina drain).
Purpose: Boosts combat damage, ideal for Fjalar or PvP-focused roosters.
2. Raven Flight (Agility Training)
Description: A swift obstacle course mimicking Odin’s ravens, Huginn and Muninn, darting through the skies.
Cost: 10 $RAG.
Duration: 2 hours.
Effects:
+5 AGI (faster attacks, dodging).
+10 XP.
-10% STA.
Purpose: Enhances speed and evasion, perfect for Dagrún or tactical players.
3. Valhalla Endurance (Stamina Training)
Description: A marathon run across Valhalla’s golden fields, testing a rooster’s resilience.
Cost: 15 $RAG.
Duration: 4 hours.
Effects:
+10 STA (more health/endurance).
+15 XP.
-20% STA.
Purpose: Increases survivability, suited for Gullinkambi or PvE longevity.
4. Spirit Chant (Spirit Training)
Cost: 15 $RAG.
Description: A meditative ritual guided by the songs of Norse skalds, fortifying a rooster’s inner resolve.
Duration: 4 hours.
Effects:
+5 SPT (better debuff resistance).
+15 XP.
-15% STA.
Purpose: Strengthens resilience, great for high-level PvP or PvE with debuffs.
5. Asgard Recovery (Recovery Training)
Description: A restorative drill using Asgard’s healing springs, speeding a rooster’s recuperation.
Cost: 20 $RAG.
Duration: 6 hours.
Effects:
+5 REC (faster stamina/energy regen).
+20 XP.
-25% STA.
Purpose: Reduces downtime, ideal for frequent PvP/PvE players.
Advanced Training (Level 10+)
At Level 10, roosters unlock Elite Drills, combining multiple stat boosts:
Einherjar Trial:
Cost: 50 $RAG.
Duration: 6 hours.
Effects: +5 STR, +5 STA, +25 XP, -30% STA.
Purpose: Balanced combat training for elite roosters.
Training Enhancements
Training Items: Using items like Runestone of Might or Feather of Freyja doubles XP gain (e.g., Hammer Forge: +20 XP instead of 10) for that session.
Special Feed Boost: Roosters fed Special Feed before training gain +2 to the target stat (e.g., +7 STR for Hammer Forge).
Failure Risk: If STA drops below 20% during training (due to neglect), the session fails, wasting $RAG but granting half XP.
Stat Impact and Progression
STA Cost: Training drains STA (10-30%), requiring feeding to recover, linking systems.
XP Gain: 10-25 XP per session accelerates leveling (e.g., ~40 sessions to Level 10), supporting PvE and breeding goals.
Stat Caps: Each stat maxes at 100 (adjustable by rarity—Rare: 120, Epic: 150), preventing infinite scaling
