PvE Mechanics
PvE Adventures are structured as a series of tiers, each representing a different realm or challenge inspired by Norse lore. Players select a rooster from their flock—equipped with armor, weapons, and buffs—and deploy it into combat against AI-controlled enemies. The rooster’s stats (STA, STR, AGI, SPT, REC) determine its performance, while its level (based on XP) unlocks higher tiers. Each battle consumes a small amount of STA, requiring careful management of feeding and recovery to sustain a rooster’s readiness
Entry Requirement: Roosters must be at least Level 1 and have a passport to participate. Higher tiers require minimum levels (e.g., Tier 2: Level 5, Tier 3: Level 10).
Battle Duration: Each encounter lasts 1-3 minutes, with auto-resolve options for faster play.
Cooldown: After each battle, a rooster enters a 30-minute recovery period (reduced by REC stat) before it can fight again, preventing spam while encouraging rotation of flock members.
Cost: Free entry for Tier 1; higher tiers cost 5-20 $RAG to unlock daily attempts, fueling token circulation.
PvE Tiers and Enemies
The PvE system is divided into three tiers, each escalating in difficulty and reward:
Tier 1: Midgard Wilds
Enemies: Fenrir Pups (wolf cubs), Midgard Serpents (small snakes).
Difficulty: Beginner (suitable for Levels 1-5).
Enemy Stats: Low STA (20-30), moderate STR (10-20), low AGI (5-10).
Rewards:
Win: 5 $RAG + 10 XP.
Loss: 2 XP (effort reward).
Purpose: An introductory tier for new players to test their roosters and earn initial resources.
Tier 2: Jotunheim Wastes
Enemies: Frost Trolls, Giant Ravens.
Difficulty: Intermediate (Levels 5-15).
Enemy Stats: Moderate STA (40-60), high STR (20-30), moderate AGI (15-20).
Rewards:
Win: 15 $RAG + 25 XP.
Loss: 5 XP.
Purpose: A step-up challenge for growing flocks, offering better rewards for PvP preparation.
Tier 3: Niflheim Shadows
Enemies: Draugr Warriors (undead), Hel’s Hounds.
Difficulty: Advanced (Level 10+).
Enemy Stats: High STA (70-100), high STR (30-40), high AGI (20-30), occasional SPT debuffs (poison, fear).
Rewards:
Win: 30 $RAG + 50 XP.
Loss: 10 XP.
Purpose: A high-stakes tier for seasoned roosters, yielding substantial XP and $RAG for elite players.
Combat and Reward System
Combat Dynamics:
Battles use a turn-based system where STR determines damage, AGI affects turn order and dodging, and STA absorbs hits. SPT resists debuffs (e.g., poison from Hel’s Hounds), and REC speeds post-battle stamina regen.
Rooster defeat occurs if STA drops to 0; victory requires depleting enemy STA.
Reward Distribution:
$RAG: A small, fixed amount per win (5-30 $RAG) ensures steady earning without flooding the economy. Losses yield no $RAG to incentivize success.
XP: Awarded for participation (win or lose), with wins granting 5x the loss amount to reward skill and preparation. XP scales with tier difficulty, accelerating rooster growth.
Bonus Drops: 5% chance per win to earn a random item (e.g., Regular Feed, Jotun Hide fragment), increasing to 10% in Tier 3.
Daily Limit: Players can attempt each tier up to 3 times daily (reset at midnight UTC), balancing grind with accessibility. Higher tiers’ entry fees offset higher rewards.
