Marketplace
In the bustling hub of Marketplace Trading, Ragroost players converge to buy, sell, and trade the spoils of their Ragnarok journey. Built on the Solana blockchain, this decentralized marketplace empowers players to exchange roosters (NFTs), equipment (armor, weapons, training items, buffs), and feed with unparalleled speed and efficiency. Beyond mere commerce, the marketplace serves as an economic lifeline, integrating a transaction fee structure and a token-burning mechanism to sustain the $RAG economy, reward active participation, and ensure long-term value for the ecosystem.
Marketplace Mechanics
The marketplace operates as an in-game platform where players list and purchase assets using $RAG, leveraging Solana’s near-instant transactions and minimal fees. All tradable items—roosters, equipment, and feed—must meet specific criteria to be listed, ensuring quality and authenticity.
Eligible Assets:
Roosters: NFTs with passports (Level 1+), tradable as unique digital assets.
Equipment: Armor (e.g., Valkyrie’s Aegis), weapons (e.g., Mjolnir’s Spur), training items (e.g., Runestone of Might), and buffs (e.g., Norn’s Blessing).
Feed: Regular, Premium, and Special Feed in batches (e.g., 5 servings).
Listing Process:
Players set a $RAG price for their item and list it via their Solana wallet (e.g., Phantom).
No listing fee; items remain active for 7 days or until sold/canceled.
Trading Interface:
Searchable categories (Roosters, Equipment, Feed) with filters (level, rarity, price).
Instant trades executed on-chain, with assets transferred to the buyer’s wallet.
Transaction Fee Structure
Every successful trade incurs a 2.5% transaction fee on the sale price, paid in $RAG by the seller. This fee supports the ecosystem while fueling the burn mechanism:
Fee Breakdown:
1.5% Burned: Removed from circulation permanently to reduce $RAG supply.
0.5% Ecosystem Fund: Allocated to development, marketing, and PvP prize pools.
0.5% Liquidity Pool: Added to $RAG/SOL liquidity on Raydium to stabilize trading.
Example:
A player sells a Level 15 Fjalar NFT for 1,000 $RAG.
Fee: 2.5% = 25 $RAG.
Burn: 15 $RAG; Ecosystem: 5 $RAG; Liquidity: 5 $RAG.
Seller receives: 975 $RAG; buyer pays 1,000 $RAG.
Token Burn Mechanism
The 1.5% burn portion of each transaction fee is sent to a designated “dead” address (e.g., 11111111111111111111111111111111) on Solana, effectively removing it from the total supply of 10 billion $RAG. This deflationary mechanism aims to:
Reduce Supply: Counteract $RAG inflation from Play-to-Earn and PvP rewards.
Increase Value: Gradual scarcity enhances $RAG’s long-term worth, benefiting holders and players.
Target: Burn 20-30% of total supply (2-3 billion $RAG) over 5 years, assuming steady marketplace activity.
Burn Tracking and Transparency
Burn Counter: A public dashboard displays total $RAG burned, updated in real-time on the Ragroost website or GitBook.
Milestone Events: When burn milestones are hit (e.g., 100 million $RAG), special in-game events (e.g., double XP weekends) celebrate the community’s economic impact.
Marketplace Incentives
To encourage trading and deepen engagement:
Seller Bonus: 5% chance per sale to receive a random item drop (e.g., Regular Feed) as a reward.
Buyer Discount: First purchase per week offers a 10% $RAG refund (up to 50 $RAG), capped at 1,000 users weekly.
Rarity Premium: Rare/Epic items (e.g., Epic Rooster NFTs) auto-highlighted in a “Featured” section, driving demand.
Economic Impact
Daily Example:
1,000 trades/day, average 500 $RAG/trade = 500,000 $RAG traded.
Total fees: 12,500 $RAG (2.5%).
Burned: 7,500 $RAG; Ecosystem: 2,500 $RAG; Liquidity: 2,500 $RAG.
Annual Projection:
365 days x 7,500 $RAG = ~2.74 million $RAG burned/year, aligning with the 20-30% target over 5 years.
